Each year the National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO) celebrates and promotes Get Organized Month.
GO Month is a national industry-wide event aimed at raising the awareness of the many benefits of getting organized.
Here are some interesting statistics:
Of 400 adults polled in a November survey conducted on behalf of NAPO, 71 percent said their quality of life would improve if they were better organized.
Overall, 96 percent said they could save time every day by becoming more organized at home.
Of those, 15 percent felt they could save more than an hour each day – for a total of more than 15 days per year.
Of those, 30 percent felt they could save at least 30 minutes each day – or more than an entire week per year.
Of the 27 percent who said they feel disorganized at work, 91 percent said they would be more effective if their workspace was better organized.
28 percent said they would save over an hour per day.
27 percent said they would save 31 to 60 minutes each day.
